A not often seen landmark on Lake Winnipeg. The channel markers guiding you up the Red River. A view from a power cruiser amidst the almost 4 feet of water, and mildly anxious moments of rubbing silt bars all was well shortly after. The average depth was 14 feet, dipping to 42 feet at the St.Peters Bridge (bridge to nowhere, new bridge). Oddly enough there was 27 Channel Catfish at about 26cm in length seen floating dead from the mouth to Lockport.
